Studio and live recordings of classical and jazz music form the core of my work. I’ve worked across chamber, symphonic and choral settings, as well as small and large jazz ensembles — in both studio and concert halls. I focus on capturing space, balance and the natural character of each performance.

Film & Animiation

Film and animation form the second core area of my work. I work across all layers of sound — from dialogue and editing to foley, atmospheres, sound design and music. I’ve contributed to around 50 short films and animations, most of them in collaboration with the Łódź Film School. In sound design, I focus on narrative, tension and pacing, with a preference for minimalism.

Pieśń Humabków | Whale Song (excerpts)

A medium-length film directed by Klaudia Folga, produced by the Łódź Film School. The sound was designed in 5.1, with humpback whale calls as the central motif. The sound design closely follows the film’s play with conventions, quickly shifting into irony and exaggeration. Final 5.1 mix in Toya Studios, Łódź.

Zupa z albatrosa | Albatross soup

Animated audio drama. I recorded a group of friends solving the mysterious death of a man. The sound design follows the narrative while interacting with the animation’s colorful, fairy-tale aesthetic, at times pushing it towards a more psychedelic tone. The original sound was mixed in Dolby Atmos at the S2 mixing studio, FCUM in Warsaw.

MOTHERLAND (trailer)

A medium-length film directed by Gor Arushanyan, produced by the Łódź Film School. Set during the final days of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the film follows a former soldier trying to convince his mother to leave their village. The sound design focuses on minimal tension, built through low-frequency rumbles associated with distant explosions and drones, contrasted with high, howling textures resembling post-explosion tinnitus.

An animation by Angela Walijewska, produced by the Łódź Film School. The sound design moves between two contrasting worlds — a processed, digital, cosmic layer, and an organic, paper-like texture inspired by the animation itself. These two sonic approaches intertwine and coexist throughout the film.

The Last Supper of GIRL

A short film by Jing Wang produced by AS Visual Studio (China). We're following Yanan, a young girl living alone in an empty villa, waiting for her family to return. As memories and hidden tensions resurface, the fragile world around her begins to collapse. The sound design reflects the story through a child’s perspective — the world feels larger, more intense and unpredictable. Music introduces a subtle fairytale quality while supporting the emotional narrative.

Fractal Music

Composition

In my work for film and animation, the boundary between composition and sound design is often blurred, with both closely interacting. Harmony and timbre are the key elements in my approach to music.

The Last Supper of GIRL (excerpt)

In this fragment, music drives the narrative and builds towards the climax. It moves from uncertainty, shaped by low drones, into a more surreal, dreamlike space through harmony and electric guitar, finally opening into a bright, illuminated atmosphere with bell-like textures.
